WHO WE ARE

You may remember us as the Florida Alliance of Community Development Corporations.  We changed our name in 2021 to the FLORIDA ALLIANCE for COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS, Inc.
to better reflect the nature of our members and their work.  Our new acronym is FACSI.

What we do:

  • Build the capacity and professionalism of our member organizations and staff
  • Connect investors and other community stakeholders with member organizations
  • Foster partnerships that help our members fulfill their community revitalization missions
  • Educate local, state and federal policy-makers about the value of our members' work

We accomplish this by :

  • Current funding opportunities
  • Rich and comprehensive local, state, regional and national training offerings
  • Up-to-date industry research
  • Individualized technical assistance

Become a Member

The Alliance has two kinds of members – voting and affiliate.

Voting members must be a nonprofit, community-based entity serving LMI residents and incorporated in Florida. Dues are calculated based on the organization’s operating budget and range from $100 to $1,000 per year.

Affiliate members may be any entity that is interested in or supports community revitalization.  Dues start at $50 and go up to $1,000.
